Common Questions About Gear
-
Do you have a wetsuit big or small enough?
We have wetsuits to fit most sizes, from small kids to large adults. If you have special sizing concerns, contact us ahead of time.
-
What if it rains or it’s cold?
Rafting is fun in the rain – we're trying to get wet! We provide full wetsuits, splash tops, and other gear as needed to keep you warm.
-
What should I wear under my wetsuit?
A swimsuit or just underwear is best.
-
Do I have to bring shoes?
We recommend it, but if you don't have appropriate shoes, we have shoes you can use.
-
Can I wear my own wetsuit or gear?
If your wetsuit provides enough thermal protection for conditions, yes. If you have an approved whitewater helmet, maybe. You must wear our lifejackets.
-
What should I do with valuables like phones, jewelry, or keys?
We have inside change rooms but no lockers. Valuables can be left in your vehicle, and keys can be left with us.
-
Can I wear glasses or contacts on the river?
We recommend straps for glasses. Contacts are fine, but if you go for a swim, you may lose them.
-
Are the wetsuits and helmets cleaned?
Yes, we wash and sanitize the suits and helmets after each use.
