Go where only the river can take you.
The walk down into the canyon is a steep, winding path. You breathe deeply, and the air smells amazing. The wind blows softly.

You started at the base in Grande Cache, where you were quickly outfitted with everything — good gear, ready for the river. After a short ride, the bus stopped in a small forest clearing. You stepped out, and the canyon unfolded at your feet.

Now, you stand at the river's edge. The guides check everyone’s gear. After the safety talk, you feel well-prepped, but now it’s real. You get into the raft and push off into another world.
Who We Are
We’re not just the people guiding your raft — Owners Gina Goldie and Johannes Zwart are industry leaders, helping define how rafting is done safely across Western Canada. Yo's a Raft Guide Examiner, and Gina has several provincial tourism roles. They both still guide full-time.
But it takes a village, and we couldn't do it without the staff, friends and family who are part of our River Family .
When you raft with us, you’re part of the family, too.
Safety first. Always.
At Wild Blue Yonder, safety is always the most important thing. We’ve been guiding rivers for nearly 30 years with a clean safety record. From day one, our approach to risk management has gone beyond industry standards — expert training, top-quality gear, and solid systems built from decades on the river.
We’re trusted by schools, youth groups and parents — because they know we take safety seriously.
