OUR WAIVER AGREEMENT
When you book a trip, we’ll ask you to read and sign a Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Assumption of Risks, and Indemnity Agreement —
or, simply put, a waiver.

SIGNING THE WAIVER IS A LEGAL REQUIREMENT.
It means you understand there are real risks in rafting, and that you agree to accept them. This is called informed consent.

However, it does not mean we don’t have responsibilities. Even with a waiver in place, Wild Blue Yonder is required to meet or exceed industry standards for safety and care. Please review our Safety & Expertise page to learn more about our training, certifications, and commitment to your safety.

The Risks & What You Agree To
Whitewater rafting involves risks, including falling out of the raft, cold water immersion, injuries from slips or collisions, changing river conditions, and limited access to medical care.
By signing the waiver, you acknowledge that these risks exist.
You agree to assume the legal risks yourself and release us (and our partners) in case of incident or accident.
You agree to follow all instructions given by guides, wear the required safety gear, and disclose any serious medical conditions before your trip.
You waive your right to sue Wild Blue Yonder for injuries or losses that could happen, even if it’s due to negligence.
Signing the waiver creates a binding legal agreement under Canadian law.
