Shoot moderate rapids, dodge boulders and squeeze through the tight spots while team-paddling. The Sulphur Canyon plunges 300 feet down then twists and turns all the way to the Sulphur Gates; Grande Cache’s top scenic spot. Between giggles and shouts, magic happens as your group comes together.

ITINERARY: Meet us at the Rafting House AT your trip time (map). Finish payments, sign the waiver/medical form, change into rafting gear, and hop on the bus. It’s 3km to the river, plus a 5 minute walk into the canyon. The trail is steep, those with walking impairments or vertigo may require assistance. At the river, there’s a safety talk, and we check life jackets and helmets before launching. Guests sit on the sides and paddle! Kids under 12 sit in the middle. About 2/3 of the trip is on the Sulphur River. At the Sulphur Gates we float into the Smoky River. Here, younger kids can paddle, and the water guns come out! Brave guests can float beside the boat! We float for 30-45 minutes on the Smoky River. The trip ends at the ‘Blue’ Bridge south of Grande Cache. After the boats are loaded, it’s only a 5-minute drive back to the change rooms!
