2 Wild: Sulphur & Sheep Combo
If you want the scary stuff, but don’t have the experience, this is your trip. Get into the groove on the Sulphur River, where the twists and turns of the canyon pump up your paddling. Next, step up the pace on Sheep Creek: a super-steep, paddle-your-face-off thrill of a lifetime. Good physical fitness required, must be 18+. ID may be required. Includes lunch.

ITINERARY: Meet at the Rafting House AT your trip time (map). Finish payments, sign the waiver/medical form, change into rafting gear, and hop on the bus. It’s 3km to the river, plus a 5 minute walk in to the canyon. At the river, there’s a safety talk, and we check life jackets and helmets before launching! Spend 1hr on the Sulphur learning all the moves, then, after 30 minutes on the Smoky, we load the boats and it’s off to Sheep Creek! Before or after the 20-minute drive, you will be served a tasty riverside lunch (buns, deli meats, cheese, potato salad, veggies). At Sheep Creek, the guides will haul the boats down to the river on their backs, and we’ll ask you to carry smaller gear. After another, more serious safety briefing, we get on the river, and it’s straight into a series of class 4 holes! For the next hour, paddle your heart out as you’re being buried in white water with your guide barking commands. WooHoo! At the end of the trip, boats and gear get loaded and it’s a 20 minute ride back to town.
