Two Wild: Sulphur River & Sheep Creek
If you want the scary stuff, but don’t have the experience, this is your trip. Get into the groove on the Sulphur River, where the twists and turns of the canyon pump up your paddling. Then board the blue bus for the Sheep Creek madness: a super-steep, paddle-your-face off thrill of a lifetime. Includes lunch. Good physical fitness required, must be 18 years old. 2011 water levels are excellent: Sheep Creek is booking until early August.
Price/person: Adults $150 Saturdays add $20
save 5% with 8 or more, save 10% with 15 or more.
Specs: Ages 18 and up, advanced class 3/4+. 8 hours total experience, 4 hours and 27 km on the river, 45-minute total shuttle time. Late May to early July, high water in June.
