You'll come to a funky, stylish space with inside change rooms. The gear is excellent, clean and warm. The guides are professional and just a little crazy. The wilderness is epic in scope and breathtaking in beauty. Our first priority is always your safety. Right behind that is making sure you have the experience of a lifetime. We will go out of our way to always make you and your group feel special, so let us know if we can do a little something extra, or if you find something is not up to your expectations. We seriously want you to have the time of your life.

Telling It Like It Is
We try very hard to describe our trips exactly as they are; no exaggerations, no fluff. This includes our cancellation deadlines and policies. Please note them, because they are firm, with no exceptions. Without these in place, we could not offer the superior product we do.

Keeping You Safe
Wild Blue Yonder is dedicated to maintaining the highest possible safety standards at all times. We exceed Canadian draft federal rafting standards, and adhere to standards from the Professional River Outfitters Association of Alberta (PROAOA). All guides are certified by PROAOA, have Swiftwater Rescue 2 and First Aid or Wilderness First Aid. Our team leader holds Advanced Wilderness First Aid and is a Swiftwater Rescue Instructor. Each season, our guides run through yearly training programs to sharpen their skills of rafting & river rescue. Our vehicle drivers are all licensed appropriately and have first aid training. We have an extensive Risk Management and Emergency Response Plan in place.

Does this mean we guarantee your safety? 
No, there is ALWAYS risk involved in a river environment, or even driving to the river. We endeavor to match guests with trips that are suited to their abilities, and we always err on the side of caution when assessing risk. We are well-trained to deal with incidents, however, not all risks are within our control, so our insurance company does require all guests to sign waivers. Scouting groups are an exception to this, please inquire. If you have any questions, please ask us!
