Our Humble Beginnings
Founded in 1998, Wild Blue Yonder has been offering rafting trips and activity/accommodation packages ever since. Pioneering the industry in Grande Cache, the company has grown rapidly and is now a mid-size company for Alberta. 

Co-owner Johannes Zwart brings over 20 years as a guide to the company: canoeing, dog-sledding, rafting and many other experiences make him a well-rounded Team Leader. All that is topped with a diploma from the prestigious adventure tourism program at University College of the Caribou, providing complete industry skills.

The other co-owner, Gina Goldie, has almost 20 years as an entrepreneur. The resulting strong business skills complement her professional career as a graphic designer and marketing wizard. Who we are today
Other than simply  THE BEST rafting company out there (humour us), we are dedicated to providing the safest and most fun outdoor experiences we can. Our focus is on families and youth, although we do have a bit of that really wild stuff. We hold authorization permits or access agreements with different levels of government and industry. We carry 2 million liability insurance on trips & vehicles. We also belong to the Professional River Outfitters Association of Alberta and the Chamber of Commerce, plus we take an active role in promoting tourism in our community.
